On December 31, 2025, Indonesian hip-hop artist Sleepy Mano premiered the official music video for "IndoMéx", an international collaboration bringing together artists from Indonesia, Mexico, and Malaysia. The project features Sleepy Mano (Indonesia), Lil Clown XIII (Mexico), Aprilio (Malaysia), and LPLC (Indonesia), and was released under the independent record label LATOMANI OTRA VEZ.
While the official music video debuted on December 31, 2025, the audio version of "IndoMéx" was released worldwide on January 14, 2026, becoming available on YouTube, Spotify, Apple Music, and all major digital streaming platforms.
Running for 5 minutes and 19 seconds, "IndoMéx" delivers a powerful Hip-Hop/Rap experience that blends classic West Coast influences with the unmistakable energy of Mexican rap. The production features rich synthesizers inspired by the iconic West Coast sound of the 1990s and the atmosphere of legendary open-world video games from the early 2000s, while maintaining a strong connection to contemporary Latin hip-hop culture.
The entire production process was handled by Latomani Otra Vez, who produced the instrumental, as well as the recording, mixing, and mastering. The result is a polished yet authentic sound that combines modern production quality with the timeless feel of classic hip-hop.
One of the song's defining characteristics is its multilingual approach. "IndoMéx" seamlessly blends Indonesian, English, and Mexican Spanish, allowing each artist to represent their own cultural identity while contributing to a unified musical vision.
More than just an international collaboration, the single carries a clear message: music has the power to connect people beyond language, borders, and cultural differences. Each artist brings a unique perspective, flow, and lyrical style, creating a record that celebrates diversity while remaining true to the spirit of hip-hop.
The music video reinforces this concept through footage filmed across three different countries. Scenes were captured in Purwokerto, Indonesia, Shah Alam, Selangor, Malaysia, and Guanajuato, Mexico, highlighting the unique atmosphere of each location and visually representing the connection between Southeast Asia and Latin America.
By combining urban landscapes from different parts of the world, the video reflects the global nature of today's independent hip-hop movement. Every location contributes its own identity, proving that authentic street culture can thrive regardless of geography.
For Sleepy Mano, "IndoMéx" represents far more than a collaborative record.
"IndoMéx is proof that hip-hop can unite the cultures of Indonesia, Mexico, and Malaysia in a single song." — Sleepy Mano
Although the project is primarily aimed at the Mexican market, it also seeks to strengthen the relationship between Southeast Asian artists and the Latin hip-hop community. Through its multicultural concept and multilingual lyrics, "IndoMéx" demonstrates how independent artists can build meaningful international collaborations without creative boundaries.
It is also worth noting that "IndoMéx" is not the first international collaboration by Sleepy Mano or LATOMANI OTRA VEZ. Over the years, both the artist and the label have consistently worked with musicians from different countries, continuing to expand an international network of independent hip-hop collaborations across continents.
With "IndoMéx", Sleepy Mano, Lil Clown XIII, Aprilio, and LPLC once again prove that talent, creativity, and passion for hip-hop can overcome geographical and linguistic barriers. More than just a single, "IndoMéx" stands as a celebration of cultural exchange and a reminder that music remains one of the world's most universal languages.
