About DKnozzy
DKNozzy, born Nur Yogi Pambayun, is a rapper from Yogyakarta, Indonesia, recognized for his deep appreciation of old-school hip-hop culture. From his music to his fashion, DKNozzy embraces the authentic aesthetics of classic hip-hop, often wearing oversized clothing inspired by the golden era of rap and staying true to the timeless style that shaped the genre.
After taking a break from music, DKNozzy made his return to the hip-hop scene in 2017, bringing with him renewed passion and artistic maturity. His comeback was marked by the release of the collaborative single "Los Dos Emcee" alongside fellow Indonesian rapper LPLC. The music video for the song was filmed in Purwokerto and produced with the support of LATOMANIOTRAVEZ, further strengthening his presence within Indonesia's independent hip-hop movement.
Musically, DKNozzy draws inspiration from Old School Hip-Hop, Boom Bap, and the legendary East Coast sound. His music reflects the influence of hip-hop pioneers while incorporating his own perspective as an Indonesian artist. Rather than following modern trends, he remains committed to preserving the values, lyricism, and authenticity that define traditional hip-hop culture.
For DKNozzy, hip-hop is much more than a musical genre—it is a lifestyle, a passion, and a platform for expression. Through his lyrics, he shares his thoughts, experiences, and observations, treating rap as a form of spoken expression that gives voice to personal stories and social realities.
Today, DKNozzy continues to contribute to the growth of Indonesia's hip-hop scene by staying true to the spirit of classic rap while inspiring a new generation of artists. His dedication to old-school culture, combined with his authentic identity and artistic consistency, has established him as one of the respected voices within Yogyakarta's independent hip-hop community.
